ART COLOGNE // The master plan for the ART COLOGNE trade fair develops a clear structure for visitors to orientate themselves. Differences in room structures inside the four large exhibition halls create the possibility of differentiating between particular spaces. Hierarchies within circulation routes and special use areas conceived as objects define recognizable ‘landmarks’. An urban structure is established inside the 60,000sqm halls, a network of routes, enclosed spaces and views. ART COLOGNE itself is transformed into an installation.
