A historical wooden structure 8 meters above the sand is the iconographic location for Salt and Silver on the North Sea coast opened in summer 2022. There are few locations on earth which offer so much horizon.
The blending between land and sea is the generator of the design. A landscape consisting of grass and sand becoming in the distance sea and sky and visually flowing into one another where the land becomes sea and colours flow from green to brown, grey and blue. A contemporary feeling is defined with beautiful furniture from the 1960’s, some original to the previous restaurant on the site and textured materials bringing a modernity to this historical location and the humourus use of maritime objects with a contemporary interior.
Salt and Silver’s new interpretation of grilled fish on the beach sets new standards for food and atmosphere.

The outside comes into the building with a layering of tones within the restored restaurant space.
